Talgo Inc., headquartered in Seattle, WA, is responsible for the U.S. maintenance-related
operations and services. Talgo Inc.'s maintenance facility in Seattle
hosts maintenance of the Amtrak Cascades® fleet that operates in
the Pacific Northwest corridor. Talgo Inc. provides technical assistance
and management services to Amtrak® for all maintenance operations.
Talgo Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Patentes Talgo SA ("PTSA") a
Spanish company which was founded in 1942 to design and manufacture
passenger railcars.
We are Changing the Way America Moves! Our goal is
to continue to offer America a balanced transportation system in
which all different means of transportation (air, rail, road, and
water) co-exist and complement each other so our economy can continue
to grow and assure mobility to the United States.
In addition to its general headquarters in Spain, the Talgo Group
also has a prominent industrial presence in Germany (Talgo GmbH)
and in Kazakhstan. The Talgo Group currently employs
